What exactly can you design?

Brand identity, rebranding, basic collateral items such as business cards, email signature and social media profile images, flyers, brochures, advertisements, social media templates, packaging design, websites, and plenty more!

What industries do you work with?

I don’t limit the clients I work with to a specific sector. I believe that working with clients from different industries allows me to think outside the box and see each business with fresh eyes. Throughout the years I have worked with multiple service-based businesses including chefs and restaurateurs, health care practitioners, tourism and accomodation, architects, beauty salons, and also some product-based businesses such as health foods and sustainable products. I think I just need a logo...

You may think that ‘just a logo’ will do the job for you, but your logo is only a small piece of your Brand Identity. To have a strong and cohesive brand for years to come, your business needs supporting features such as fonts, colour palette, graphics and basic collateral to optimise communication between you and your ideal customer. I believe that if you’re in business to truly connect with your audience, understand what they are looking for and provide notable solutions, then defining your positioning and core values from a strategic angle may open your eyes for opportunities you weren’t previously considering. I am committed to deliver a custom made brand package that is consistent and practical to implement, making your business attract and connect to the right people.

Can we work together if I already have a logo?

Possibly. Since my goal is to ensure that your communication feels balanced and consistent throughout all the touch points with your audience, I prioritise working with clients who are open to an update or refresh to their current logos to ensure that your identity is aligned with your business goals and will therefore connect with the desired audience.

How much does it cost to work with you?

Costs will change depending on each project. That’s why it’s important for me to understand your specific needs first, and then I’ll put together a proposal for you. I believe that good and consistent graphic design is a valuable investment, and I’m amazed to see the transformation it allows – inside and out of the business. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! The financial side of business can be tricky, that’s why I like to give clients payment options. I usually split payment in 2 equal parts, one due before we get started and the second prior to launching. However, if there are other payment options that would better suit your budget, I’m happy to discuss them with you.

Is the first deposit refundable?

Once you make the first deposit (typically 50% of the total), your project will be guaranteed a time frame in my schedule and you can have the peace of mind that your project will get the attention your business deserves. However, if for whatever reason you decide not to go ahead with your project, that will result in leaving a gap on my schedule, and in this case your deposit is not refundable.

How involved in the process will I be as a client?

I often find that the projects with the best results are the ones where clients are willing to get involved. This doesn’t necessarily mean you selecting the colour palette and sketching logos, but it’s nice to see business owners engaged in the process of identifying core values and understanding their audience. No one better than you to share valuable insights about your business!

At the start of a project, I’ll share a workflow timeline with due dates for you and for me, this way we both know when to expect to hear from each other. I’m only able to get a limited number of projects at one time, therefore I expect clients to provide feedback on a timely manner so that I am able to deliver on schedule.

How long will the whole process take?

Same as the cost, time frames will be different for every project. Creative process times can vary depending on my current workload, client response and project requirements. If needed, urgent services are available at a higher cost. To ensure that we both have a positive experience and we keep track of everything, I’ll set up a schedule for us to follow during the period we’re working together.

Can we work together if I’m based in another city or country?

For sure! Fortunately distance is not a barrier for most graphic design projects. With the help of today’s technology, we can have our meetings through video calls and easily share screen to allow an effective communication. I’ve been successfully working with people from many places around the world.

Will I be able to keep updating a website you create for me?

Most of the websites I create are with WordPress, which is a powerful and totally customisable platform that allows non-tech people to edit text and images. At the end of the project, I’ll teach you how to make updates, and if you’re comfortable with it you should be good to edit the basics on your website. In case you don’t have time or don’t feel comfortable to make updates, I’m here for you.

FAQ: Brand Packages

How long is the process for customising a Brand Package?

After you select one of our Brand Packages, you’ll be directed to our Brand Brief Questionnaire. Once you submit your answers, you can expect to hear back from us with the first presentation in up to 10 business days. The final delivery deadline depends on how quick you are to respond with revisions, but it usually takes up to 15 business days to finalise everything.

How long does the Brand Package customisation take?

We created the Brand Packages so you can show up with your new brand pretty quick! Once you complete the payment and submit the Brief Questionnaire, we aim to get back to you within two weeks or sooner. To get your new brand ready in a timely manner, we strongly recommend that you are ready to take action when you purchase one of our Brand Packages, and by that we mean be ready to answer the Brief Questionnaire right after you placed the order. Also, be committed to replying to our emails when we contact you for your feedback. To avoid your brand project dragging through time and to get energy flowing and make things happen in your business, we do have a deadline of 30 days for brands to be finalised to count from the date of purchase. How many revisions are included?

For the Brand Packages, you are allowed two rounds of revisions to ensure your brand result is exactly how you want.

Further changes are available at an extra charge.

What sort of changes can I request on a Brand Package revision?

The idea for the Brand Packages is to make our process streamlined and get your branding up and running in no time! We will customise your selected Brand Package with your business name, tagline and colour palette that you suggested. Once we send you the first presentation for revision, be mindful that further change requests are limited to: mood board imagery, colour palette and information on business cards and email signature. Other requests such as Hierarchy fonts and major layout and structure changes will not be accepted for the Brand Packages.

I received my new brand, and I love it! Can I work with you on other design items?

Absolutely! We often have clients coming back to work on further pieces for their branding, from workbook templates to fully custom websites. We love to see business expanding and demanding more professionally-designed items that will match their brand perfectly. I'm concerned my brand will not look unique enough...

We totally understand. We have created the Semi-Custom Brand Packages as an affordable start point to get your small business or “side hustle” off the paper, looking professional and attractive to the right people. It’s very important for us that your brand looks unique, so we take special care in customising each detail to make it reflect your business as best as possible – in a way you can afford. In other words, if you’re tired of wasting energy and time trying to come up with a logo that doesn’t look professional and aligned with your values, and if you don’t want to sacrifice on having a well designed brand but you’re not ready for the custom design investment, these Brand Packages are for you.

Will I be able to use my new brand throughout different design materials?

Yes, you will receive all logo files in several formats and colours, so you can use them in different applications. Included with your final brand files, you’ll find a comprehensive presentation Brand Style Guide, with tips and guidelines to implement your new brand system like a pro.

Can I request an extra symbol or icon to my Brand Package to make it feel more unique?

You are welcome to share on the Brand Brief Questionnaire if you’d like to add a custom icon or symbol to your branding. If that’s the case, we ask that you are as specific as possible and share with us exactly what icon you have in mind. Please note that custom designed elements or icons are not included and will incur extra fees (from $50 USD), to be invoiced prior to sending the final files.

How can I edit the social media templates?

All social media templates are created on Canva.com. Canva is is a free platform that allows you to create several graphic design pieces using professionally designed templates. Once you receive your templates from us, you’ll be able to upload your new logos and your own photos to Canva and start adding your unique content, certain that your social media will look professional and match the rest of your brand items.

Where can I get my business cards printed?

Your business cards are designed in a standard size so that you can get them printed pretty much anywhere you like. You can take the files to your local print shop or easily get it printed online. We’ll send recommendations of online printers we love with your final files.

Will I receive the mood board images and the logo fonts with my new brand?

Some of the logo fonts are 100% free for commercial use and will be sent to you with the final brand files. Depending on the Brand Package, there may be paid fonts, and a link for you to purchase them will be shared with you in case you desire to use that same font in other materials other than your logo (please note we strongly recommend keeping one font exclusively for the logo, so it always stands out from other elements). The mood board we create is unique to your brand, and is there to help us visualise the style direction to be used. These images are sourced from unsplash.com, a library of amazing photography – totally free for commercial use. All images used on your mood board will be sent to you once your brand has been approved.

I love the idea of Semi Custom Brand Packages, but I can't find one that suits my brand. Are you planning to launch more packages?

Yes! We have been very busy trying to figure out the best way to make each brand look as unique as possible while keeping them affordable. So yes, we have a list of future Brand Packages waiting to be designed! If you have suggestions on what Brand Package should be next, we would love to hear from you.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

We get that you may change your mind, so we offer full refunds if required prior to submitting your Brand Brief Questionnaire. Once your answers are submitted on STEP 2, our team will get started on your brand and therefore no refunds will be allowed from this point onwards.

Do you have a sales limit for each Brand Package?

We believe we can customise your brand to make it look unique enough with your own name, tagline, colours and mood board, therefore for the time being we do not restrict the number of sales for each Brand Package.

What if I can't decide on the best Brand Package for my business?

Knowing for sure which Brand Package will best represent your business can be tricky. If unsure, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Once you have your message clear, you can browse the Brand Packages to imagine which will suit your business’ concept and personality best.

Can my logo created from a Brand Package be trademarked afterwards?

Possibly. Even though we’ll work on making your Brand Package unique, these brands are semi-custom and there may be similar logos out there. If you intend to trademark your brand, we would recommend our Custom Branding to create a brand solution that is 100% personalised for your business. Trademarks also depend on the industry and several other factors, therefore for specific details about trade marks, we strongly recommend that you seek trademark professional advice.
